The standard 500 gigabyte capacity disk offers the option of archiving up to 75,000 hours on one system. The Backup service provides the ability to backup data to various media types (NAS, DVD, RDX) as well as retention periods on how long data is kept onsite and apply various time schedules. Apresa uses HTTPS protocol for secure data transport over the network and proprietary file format. In addition, Apresa offers standard selectable MD5 or SHA-1 fingerprinting, assuring audio file authentication. This combination secures the audio files against alteration, editing or unauthorised replay on external systems.
